INTUS VISIO

A Project of the Symbolic Language of Inner Dialogue

INTUS VISIO is a world where images do not lead to a single interpretation. They leave space for the exploration of one's inner self.

It is not about finding a single answer.
It is about having the courage to ask one's own questions.

Read The Concept ↗

INTUS VISIO is a long-term, multi-layered artistic project dedicated to creating and codifying a universal visual language rooted in depth psychoanalysis and analytical psychology. At the same time, it seeks to establish a universal symbolic space - a platform for dialogue with the human psyche that enables an encounter with one's own inner world.

The project was not created to define the human psyche or to provide definitive answers to questions that have remained open for centuries. It makes no claim to explain human nature. Instead, it seeks to create a shared language of symbols - open to individual interpretation - that may become the beginning of personal reflection. It is an invitation to discover this symbolic language for oneself. The project grows from the belief that contemporary humanity is becoming increasingly disconnected from its own inner life.

In a world shaped by constant exposure, social expectations and imposed roles, it becomes easy to lose contact with what is authentic. Instead of discovering who we are, we learn to perform successive roles. Instead of listening to our own voice, we begin to speak the language of the world.

INTUS VISIO invites the viewer to pause, to look beyond everyday roles, social expectations and the masks that gradually replace authentic identity. It encourages an encounter with what has been repressed, silenced or forgotten and opens a dialogue with one's own inner self.

It is not about finding a single answer.

It is about having the courage to ask one's own questions.

At the foundation of INTUS VISIO lies the belief that symbols possess a unique ability to transcend words. What cannot always be named can often be deeply felt. For this reason, the images do not guide the viewer toward one correct interpretation. Their role is to open a symbolic space in which each individual may discover personal meanings.

It is a symbolic space where one may pause for a moment, breathe, and find the courage to remove the masks worn not only before others, but also before oneself.

Not to become someone else.

But to remember who one was before.

Every work within the project forms part of a larger symbolic universe. Each piece is an invitation to introspection. Rather than explaining the unconscious, it creates the possibility for the viewer to turn inward and begin a dialogue with what remains hidden within the psyche. It is a personal journey through symbols toward that which remains unseen, yet is constantly present.

The works are not illustrations of psychological theories, nor are they closed narratives. They are symbols that together create a shared language - one that imposes no meanings, but leaves room for personal discovery. The Eye, the Mask, the Stone, the Shadow, Scintilla, and the symbols yet to come do not describe a single individual. They speak of experiences shared by all humanity. Every viewer brings to them their own history, fears, desires and answers.

For this reason, INTUS VISIO is not merely a collection of artworks.

It is an experience.

Each series represents another stage in a journey through the human psyche. Every image captures a moment of inner dialogue between the conscious Ego and what remains hidden, repressed and unconscious. The Eye, the Mask, the Stone, the Shadow and Scintilla are not definitions. They are points of departure for an encounter with oneself.

The project is rooted in depth psychoanalysis, analytical psychology and the classical language of painting, treating art not as decoration but as a tool for introspection.

It offers no ready-made interpretations.

It points toward no single truth.

It seeks to change no one.

It simply invites an encounter with oneself.

For this reason, INTUS VISIO does not construct a closed system of meanings. Instead, it creates a space where symbols may become mirrors. Their meaning emerges through the viewer's own experiences, memories, fears, desires and hopes.

Every individual will read this language differently.

And that is precisely what allows it to become universal.

Because it is founded not upon predetermined answers, but upon human experience.

If even one person, while standing before the works of INTUS VISIO, pauses for a moment, dares to look beyond their own Persona, and begins an honest dialogue with themselves - hearing a voice long silenced by fear, expectation and the relentless pace of everyday life - then the project will have fulfilled its purpose.

For the purpose of this project is not to explain the human psyche.

Its purpose is to create a symbolic space where one may hear one's own inner voice and, perhaps for the first time, truly encounter oneself.

THE EYE

The Beginning of the Symbolic Language

THE EYE is the first chapter of the INTUS VISIO project and the beginning of its symbolic language. Its purpose is not to explain the human psyche, but to create a space in which an inner dialogue can begin.

Here, the eye becomes more than an organ of sight. It is the threshold between consciousness and the unconscious, a mirror of the soul, and the first symbol guiding the viewer into the depths of their own intricate and unknowable psyche.

THE EYE is a complex study of the architecture of the human Ego - its isolation, claustrophobia, and the fragile boundaries of intimacy. Within each work, space becomes a conceptual record of the mind's internal structure, where the pupil functions as a safe, yet rigorously sealed sanctuary for our deepest hidden identity.

The collection explores the moment when the unconscious ceases to be a place of refuge and instead becomes an arena where control over conscious life is contested. It is a reflection on the paralysing fear of exposing one's vulnerabilities, the neurotic anxiety of living under the relentless gaze of the outside world, and the destructive imprisonment of emotions beneath the weight of social judgement.

It is also a story of painful inner fractures, of psychological paralysis in the face of collapse, and of the hard-won reconciliation with oneself - the only alliance capable of restoring agency over one's own life and finally silencing the returning demons of the past.

Each artwork is an attempt to stop the viewer before themselves. It is an invitation to look beyond the surface of everyday roles and social masks, towards everything that has remained hidden, repressed, or left unspoken for years.

In THE EYE, the act of looking is no longer one-sided.

It is not the viewer who observes the artwork.

The artwork begins to look back at the viewer.

This is the beginning of an inner dialogue in which symbols do not impose meanings but open a space for their personal discovery. Every gaze may lead to a different answer, because every person enters this world carrying their own history, fears, and desires.

THE EYE does not offer answers.

It asks the first question.

Are you ready to look at yourself without the mask?

Title: ALBEDO REDIVIVA

Light does not conquer darkness. It is born from fully passing through it.

Even after the deepest fall, we possess the ability to rise again. After the darkest night, dawn inevitably arrives. It is an expression of profound faith in our own strength and in the enduring struggle of the inner Self to bring hidden suffering into the light, ultimately discovering the path toward renewal. Only then can true inner catharsis become possible.

The painting captures the moment of transcendence—the passage into the stage of Albedo. Every hidden wound and fear that once poisoned the mind has finally been brought into the light and transformed. The blue lines are no longer a paralysing web nor an imprisoning umbilical cord. They have become living, healing water, cleansing the soul.

The hand touching the wall of the pupil marks the moment when the conscious Ego and the hidden Self finally reach genuine reconciliation. They no longer struggle against one another. Together they leave trauma behind, giving birth to a stronger, more fully integrated human being, ready to begin a new chapter of existence.

Title: PUER AETERNUS

Every beginning carries both innocence and fear. From them, an entire lifetime is born.

Within each of us lives the Inner Child — pure, innocent and untouched. It carries an unimaginable strength born from unawareness of danger, yet at the same time a paralysing fear of the unknown.

The intertwined lines emerging from the pupil like an umbilical cord reveal that our entire adult life, the way we feel, experience and express emotions, but also the way we manipulate them and play upon the emotions of others, originates there — within that primal, pure and uncorrupted force.
This is Puer Aeternus.

The archetype of the Divine Child.

It reigns over the unconscious, seated upon the throne of the psyche, guiding the emotions that accompany us throughout adult life. Innocent and vulnerable, yet at the same time remarkably powerful, cunning and resourceful. It evades responsibility, manipulates, and influences the emotions of others while remaining concealed behind the illusion of innocence.

Title: COGNITIO MUTUA

The deepest understanding is born not from words, but from the courage to reveal what has long remained hidden.

After an endless and exhausting struggle, when we fall and no longer possess the strength to rise, we begin to seek help—an alliance with another human being, a kindred soul, the archetypal Anima (Animus), the missing part that completes our identity.

The touch of two fingertips, inspired by the iconic motif from the Sistine Chapel, marks the moment when isolation begins to dissolve, and salvation comes through an authentic connection with another being, allowing us to rise from our fall.

This is Cognitio Mutua - a state of profound mutual understanding in which masks are set aside, and we allow another person to perceive our hidden weaknesses without fear of judgment.

BEHIND THE FACADE

The Language of the Mask

After the first gaze inward, one is confronted with a fundamental question:

Who am I, beneath everything I present to the world?

BEHIND THE FACADE explores the concept of the Persona—the social mask we create in order to meet the expectations of the world. It is a story about the roles that, over time, begin to replace our authentic identity.

It unfolds as a dark, multilayered theatre of appearances within the human psyche, where the mouth becomes a stage upon which our hidden traumas silently perform.

The collection delves deeply into the Jungian crisis of the Persona - the false identity and social mask that each of us adopts in order to survive within an increasingly indifferent world.

It is a psychological study of dehumanisation and the gradual surrender of personal agency, in which the individual willingly relinquishes free will, becoming a pawn in a larger game - a silent marionette manipulated by systemic expectations until all connection with the authentic self is lost.

The series captures a decisive turning point: the tragic rupture of the façade of respectability, the inevitable fracture of the mask beneath the pressure of long-suppressed pain and anger, and the retreat into yet another comforting illusion - another gilded prison.

It is a story about the luxurious cage we build out of fear of rejection; a theatre of shadows in which the true Self slowly withers beneath layers of imposed identities, stripped of authenticity and individuality, searching for a way to emerge while becoming the target of emotional annihilation.

The project does not judge the masks we wear. It recognises them as a natural part of human existence. Yet it invites us to ask whether the face we present to the world still truly belongs to us.

This is the second chapter in the symbolic language of INTUS VISIO - the language through which we begin to recognise what has been created for others, and what still belongs only to ourselves.

Title: SACRIFICIUM SYSTEMATIS

Not every mask conceals a face. Some exist only to survive.

Modern dehumanisation. Voluntary slavery concealed beneath the illusion of success.

The mask becomes the façade of the corporate world. Outwardly it wears the tribal colours of prestige, ambition and professional achievement. For many, it represents a dream — an invitation into an elite tribe that promises security, recognition and success.

Behind that stage, however, another story unfolds. The system knows no loyalty. The moment an individual ceases to be useful, they are discarded like worn-out machinery. Along with them disappear years of sacrifice, abandoned dreams and an entire life devoted to an organisation they once believed to be their new family.

This is the portrait of the modern corporate worker — someone who surrendered everything while running the endless rat race, only to become disposable in the end. Identity has been stripped away completely. The individual is no longer a person, but a resource. A consumable asset that the system devours, drains of vitality, and ultimately spits back out through the mouth of its own mask.

Title: SCISSURA PERSONAE

Every mask has its breaking point.

The rebellion of the repressed Shadow against the tyranny of the Persona (The Rupture of Persona).

When, for years, we force ourselves to perform in the theatre of appearances - pretending that everything is fine while suppressing anger, pain and sorrow - this accumulated psychic energy slowly turns into a ticking time bomb. The painting captures the moment when the truth of our suffering literally tears apart the artificial, well-mannered façade from within. Anger and pain no longer wish to continue performing in this theatre of pretence. They want to unmask us before the world.

The outer mask, rendered in cool olive-grey tones, symbolises the calm, composed and impeccable face we present to the world every day. Yet within its mouth, upon a small stage, true horror erupts. Hands tear the space apart, while from the depths emerges a face suspended in a horrifying, silent scream.

This is the rebellion of the repressed Shadow against the theatre of appearances. The calm, controlled mask that we put on every day is suddenly and violently torn apart from within by the mute scream and the hands of hidden emotions. Anger, pain and the monstrous silent scream burst from the throat onto the stage, refusing to hide their suffering beneath the veil of decency any longer.

DESIDERIUM LAPIDEUM

The Language of Stone

Not every form of suffering cries out.

Sometimes, it becomes silence.

DESIDERIUM LAPIDEUM tells the story of inner petrification - a state in which, while trying to protect oneself from pain, a person gradually loses the ability to feel.

It is a story of longing for closeness, the search for understanding, and the barriers of emotional unavailability, psychological coldness, and the boundless loneliness that can exist even between two people.

Here, stone is not a symbol of strength.

It is a symbol of defence.

It reminds us that the mechanisms which once enabled us to survive can, over time, separate us from our own emotions.

The collection explores the psychological mechanism of emotional armour, in which our deepest longing for love and intimacy is brutally submerged in an attempt to avoid further wounds, becoming silently imprisoned within the form of stone sculptures.

It is a visualisation of emotional catatonia - a state in which our most profound human feelings remain frozen beneath the unyielding shell of silence.

The series examines the universal tragedy of relationships in which, despite bodies intertwined in the closest embrace - almost merged into one - two people remain emotionally isolated by the weight of pride and the fear of revealing their vulnerability.

It is a profound and painful exploration of the gravity of the unconscious, of the weight of our deepest fears that pull us towards the depths, interwoven with a desperate, almost imperceptible struggle to strike even the smallest spark of life from stone and to give voice once again to the silenced sensitivity that remains beautiful, pure, and untouched at its very core.

This is the third chapter in the symbolic language of INTUS VISIO - the language through which we learn to recognise the moments when protection becomes imprisonment, and silence begins to take the place of life.

Title: FOSSILIZED AFFECTION

"Frozen longing waits for the first spark capable of awakening the heart."

THE SHADOW

The Language of the Shadow

Every human being carries within themselves a place they would rather never face.

THE SHADOW is an invitation to encounter everything that has been repressed, forgotten, or rejected - not in order to judge it, but to understand it.

It is the culmination of the entire narrative, exploring the process of profound psychological transformation and the descent into the darkest regions of human experience. It is a record of the mind's ultimate disintegration and its descent into the unfathomable depths of the collective unconscious.

The series unfolds through states of existential dread, suspension, loss of self, and helplessness in the face of overwhelming inner transformation. It explores the moment when familiar defence mechanisms and the rational structures of the Ego are swept away by a destructive force, while returning waves of trauma obscure every remaining source of hope. Yet this dark storm is not an act of destruction. It is a necessary, painful, yet ultimately healing stage of inner purification - a relentless shedding of comforting illusions.

It is a story of the ultimate test of faith, in which the deepest suffering and the desperate struggle for survival give rise to a new form of resilience, leading to hard-won reconciliation, the integration of one's own Shadow, and the remarkable emergence of a new, enduring life force.

Within the symbolic language of INTUS VISIO, the Shadow is not an enemy.

It is an inseparable part of the human whole.

It is the place where emotions, desires, fears, and untapped potential remain preserved until consciousness is ready to receive them.

This chapter does not propose a battle against the Shadow.

Title: CLAMOR EX ABYSSO

"The abyss may claim the body, but never the last spark of the soul."

A cry of annihilation within the ocean of the unconscious. A solitary figure is drowning, choking on the sea foam, while a hand woven from neurotic, tangled threads desperately reaches for a radiant yellow sphere - a glimmer of hope - that slips beyond its grasp, almost drifting away like a balloon carried by a fragile string.

This is the Archetypal Catastrophe and the descent into the Abyss (Nekyia). The vast, turbulent sea becomes the timeless symbol of the collective unconscious, engulfing the conscious Ego. The Dark Shadow floods the mind, bringing it to the edge of complete dissolution.

The luminous yellow sphere embodies the Self - the Archetype of Wholeness - the final point of support, the inner sun and the last remaining hope. The drowning figure stretches towards it with the last of its strength, fighting for survival and for the salvation of what remains of its identity.

One must never surrender to the darkness. Even in the deepest abyss, somewhere beyond the reach of despair, there still burns a tiny spark of hope, faith and redemption.

"Even while drowning, the soul never stops reaching for the light."

A painting is like an eye: it does not merely observe the world - it becomes a window through which the unconscious reveals its true form.

I do not seek superficial beauty in art, nor do I ask whether a work will complement the wall upon which it hangs.

Within my universe, art exists neither as decoration nor as ornament. It is an uncompromising instrument of psychological introspection - a means of exploring the hidden architecture of the inner world. For me, artistic creation is an extension of psychoanalysis: the only language capable of reaching what remains concealed, repressed, and painful within the human psyche. It is there that every image is born.

I reject superficial aestheticization in favour of a raw, intuitive record of psychological transformation. My paintings are layered explorations of the unconscious, defence mechanisms, neurotic anxieties, and the repressed Shadow. I regard my practice as an uncompromising alliance between the visual arts and depth psychology - an intimate investigation into the personal and collective unconscious, the structures that shape identity, and the invisible forces that govern human behaviour.

Every work within the INTUS VISIO universe documents the invisible struggle between the conscious Ego and the immense forces of the unconscious. Working within the emotional and existential fabric of human experience, I explore the boundaries of identity, the subjugation of the individual by social systems, and the painful process of individuation.

Each chapter of my artistic universe functions as a self-contained psychological treatise, inviting the viewer to remove their social masks and confront the uncontrollable territories of the inner self. It is a theatre of fears, desires and inner conflicts, where the mouth becomes a stage, the eye a mirror of the soul, and the Shadow endlessly searches for a path into consciousness.

My artistic practice is rooted in the classical disciplines of easel painting and traditional printmaking. Years of studying these practices taught me the discipline of composition, respect for line, light and texture, and an understanding that technique is never an end in itself but a vehicle for meaning.

Contemporary reality compelled me to enter the digital realm. Although modern technology offers sophisticated simulations of traditional media and an endless variety of brushes, I remain fully aware that no screen can replace the movement of the hand across canvas, the transparency of glazing, the scent of linseed oil and balsam turpentine, the physical resistance of stretched linen, or the tactile experience of mixing traditional pigments.

My ambition is not to imitate traditional painting through digital tools, but to allow those tools to speak the same visual language that painting has developed over centuries. For this reason, my works deliberately preserve roughness, imperfection and the nervous vitality of hand-drawn lines. I am not interested in sterile perfection. I seek the appearance of truth.

I treat the tablet as a traditional painter's stretcher upon which I weave a dramatic narrative about the perpetual struggle between the Ego and the unconscious.

In an age defined by relentless self-exposure and the cult of personal identity, I choose the opposite gesture.

I deliberately refrain from revealing my appearance, biography or personal identity. The work should speak - not the artist.

I do not want the viewer's attention to rest upon the author or become distracted by my story. Instead, I invite every viewer to look through the lens of their own inner Self, to descend into the deepest regions of the psyche and discover themselves within these paintings.

I do not ask you to look at my paintings.
I ask you to look through them.
What you discover beyond them may not be my world at all.
It may be your own.
